Whistleblowing software for charities and NGOs

WeMoral is whistleblowing software for charities, foundations and NGOs. Staff, volunteers, trustees and partners abroad report through one secure page, and your team handles every case in one place.

PRO costs €79 a month with the year paid up front. The 30-day free trial includes every PRO feature.

One reporting channel for nine kinds of non-profit

Campaign groups, service charities and funders face different concerns. Each needs a channel its own people trust.

Whistleblower support groups

You help others report safely. Your own staff and volunteers will expect the same care when they raise a concern.

Anti-corruption groups

Your work depends on your own good name. A working channel shows funders you follow the rules you campaign for.

Human rights groups

Researchers and partners work across many countries. Each can report in their own language.

Press freedom groups

Staff, grantees and the journalists you support can all reach the same secure page.

Digital rights groups

Your supporters will ask how you handle data. Reports are stored in Frankfurt, and the form logs no IP address.

Environmental groups

Campaigners, scientists and volunteers work at field sites and events, often far from head office.

Humanitarian and development aid

Field offices, local partners and suppliers need a route straight to head office.

Social care and community charities

Care staff and volunteers often see a problem first. A clear route gets their concern to the right person quickly.

Foundations and grant makers

Grant decisions bring conflicts of interest. A channel lets staff and grantees raise them early.

Volunteers, trustees and partners can all report

Two volunteers in plain vests sort donated food into green crates at a long table in a food bank warehouse

In a non-profit, the people closest to a problem are often not employees. The EU Directive protects many of them when they report.

Volunteers
The Directive names volunteers among the people it protects. Many charities have more volunteers than staff.
Trustees and board members
Board members who are not on the staff are covered when they report. The board is also where a report about the chief executive should go.
Interns and trainees
Paid or unpaid, the Directive protects them.
Contractors and suppliers
People who work for them are covered. Many groups also open the channel to the local partners who run their projects.
Donors and the people you serve
The Directive does not cover them. Because the reporting page is public, you can still invite them to use it.

One reporting page in the languages of your field teams

103 languages on the reporting form

A report from a field office should not wait for a translator. Each reporter picks their own language. Your case handlers work in the panel in one of 25 languages, chosen separately.

What funders and auditors ask about your reporting channel

An older man and a young woman plant a sapling on a riverbank while other volunteers clear litter behind them

Grant applications, partner checks and audits often ask how people can raise a concern and what happens next. With WeMoral in place, you can answer each question.

Who can report, and how?

Anyone with the link can report from any phone, without an account. Reports are anonymous by default.

How fast do you respond?

Handlers get an email for each new report. The EU deadlines are 7 days to acknowledge and 3 months to give feedback.

Who sees a report?

Only the handlers you name. Every read and every change is logged.

What changed as a result?

A register of corrective actions records each fix. Dashboards show case numbers by month or year, ready to export for the board.

Frequently asked questions

In the EU, the duty comes from your national whistleblowing law, based on the EU Whistleblower Directive (2019/1937). Non-profit status does not change it. In most EU countries the line is 50 workers. Elsewhere, check your local law.

Below the legal line it is your choice. A channel still helps when a funder asks how concerns are handled, and when most of your people are volunteers. PRO includes up to five panel users.

Yes. The reporting page is public, so you can share the link with anyone. Edit the form so people can say how they are connected to you.

On Enterprise, yes. One login gives each legal entity its own profile and case pool, with analytics for the whole group. The same team handles cases for every entity.

The reporting page is ready within five minutes of signing up. Adding it to your policies, briefing handlers and telling volunteers takes a few days more.
